Hello everyone,

(because we can hardly believe it ourselves) here are a few photos, it’s slowly starting to feel like home....some stuff is still standing around without a clear purpose, waiting to find its place.

But other than that, I can say we love it.....cheers to the ‘70s!

Let’s start with the kitchen and dining area:
Modern white kitchen with sink, stainless steel faucet, and window.

Modern kitchen visible through wall opening with countertop, utensils, and window

Modern living room wall clock with wooden balls and red rods on light wall

Close-up of an orange architectural lamp with reflective metal spheres

Corner kitchen with yellow kitchen utensils on windowsill and brown base cabinets

Modern kitchen with swiveling extractor hood, spice rack, and induction cooktop

Modern round white pendant light in bright interior

Modern kitchen with dining area, red chairs arranged in a circle, and hexagonal wall decorations

I also find it unusual. You can see a consistent style, and anyone who knows you would definitely recognize your touch in it. It’s your signature, so to speak.

It’s not my personal taste, and I find the flooring and kitchen a bit cold and not very cozy.

But taste is personal, and others wouldn’t feel comfortable in our house and style either.

It’s great that there are so many diverse tastes!

I like the style. You have clerestory windows. Is this a bungalow?
You had already posted the kitchen before – I really like it when you embrace the style that develops and can identify with it.
Or were you already fans of the 60s style beforehand?
In any case, it has its own character and isn’t what you usually find nowadays in any furniture store.

This is a 1970s atrium bungalow with some Bauhaus architectural influences (maybe Bauhaus was back in style around 1974).

We basically have everything on the main level, plus a basement or lower ground floor and a more private garden, which I really appreciate—no need to look across to Mr. Müller’s breakfast table.

I think I’ve always been a bit of a fan of this style, but the architecture naturally lends itself to it (I guess I just embraced it... and a lot of it was created for budget reasons, especially the interior design). I like combining old things with new.

We still have many items from our old apartment (sofa, Ikea shelf, etc.). I’m also a fan of flea markets and classifieds (though not everyone is), but I just can’t warm up to the Segmüller dining set "Gabi" made of beech.

I like to combine old things with new ones.

That’s how it should be

I live like that too, just in a completely different way

You can clearly see the style here; the garden isn’t large, but A) I don’t want to train as a gardener, and B) square meters in and around Munich are expensive.

And here we go again from the beginning... it looks a bit gloomy at first, but everyone gets the light behind the front door (lol).

We had to replace the window due to the working height in the kitchen. The door will be painted in the same color as the bench and the trash enclosure.
A light wood cladding will also be added under the kitchen window (behind the bench).
