I need information on the following questions:
- Which manufacturers or suppliers are recommended?
- Is it advisable to have an on-site consultation with a professional?
- What material is best? Wood or metal?
- How is the installation carried out?

Regarding point 1:
The DOLLE CLICKFIX 76 is recommended.
Good value for money.
Very good U-value of 0.49 W/m²K (0.09 BTU/hr·ft²·°F).
Installation is also possible alone, since everything is click-fitted.
Regarding point 2:
You can do that.
Regarding point 3:
Attic stairs are usually made of wood.
Regarding point 4:
Installation instructions are always included. The attic stairs are available in different lengths and widths.
They are screwed to the side of the collar beams. For concrete ceilings, dowels are used. Possibly supported underneath with battens.
