ᐅ Positioning of Sofa, TV, and Fireplace in Relation to the Windows

chrisw81Hello,
The biggest challenge in planning our floor layout at the moment is the living room. It is located in the southwest, and I want to fit a corner sofa, fireplace, and TV there. The corner sofa should ideally face the open space and not act as a room divider (only if there’s no other option or if you have good ideas). The two smaller windows on the south and west sides can be freely positioned, either as a corner window or separated.
Now to my options:
1) Sofa in the southwest corner:
Here, you would be sitting with your back to the window and wouldn’t have a good view of the garden (south), and the TV would be directly opposite the window (reflection?). However, the fireplace would be between the living and dining areas (it should also be clearly visible from the dining table) and clearly visible from the sofa.
2) Sofa in the northwest corner:
Here, you can look diagonally through the window into the garden, and there would be no reflections on the TV. However, from the long side of the sofa, the fireplace is only visible when looking left.
What do you think is best, or do you have other ideas on how to arrange everything differently? The fireplace must definitely be on the long wall on the north side. The TV should not be on the west wall and does not need to be directly visible from the dining area.
I look forward to your suggestions.

You still have two open threads where you were asked to provide additional data. Are these questions not important enough to you (floor plan discussions) that you now only want to discuss the furnishing here? No, the other questions are important to me as well, and I would like to continue discussing them. I will of course provide the data there as soon as possible.

Are these the correct furniture pieces with the correct dimensions?Yes, the furniture is the same as what is planned to be placed. Only the fireplace is roughly sketched in; it can of course be larger, with wood storage etc.
I would appreciate getting some suggestions and being able to incorporate them into my floor plan.
Thanks in advance.
To balance the TV, I would also recommend adding a bookshelf alongside the piano *SCNR*

....Well then. The floor plan you provided here already has some issues... without the upper floor, it’s impossible to comment on the stove... important information is still missing in the other thread... still [emoji6] ... starting three threads and not delivering any useful information doesn’t help.
Wishing you a nice third Advent [emoji2]
