In 2006/2007, we purchased a single-family house from Oa.sys Holzbau in Alberschwende, Vorarlberg, and had it built in Vienna. The entire process was a disaster. I will just mention the main issues: a six-month delay in completion, the wrong boiler installed, a leaking roof, no safety valve on the heating system—each defect had to be reported multiple times and we had to threaten legal action before Mr. Siegfried Kohler took us seriously. There was no safety glass where there was a risk of falling from large window panes. Poor subcontractors who unintentionally damaged each other’s work, and so on…
Currently, we still have a problem because Oa.sys installed Velfac 200 windows that have cold frames and are absolutely unsuitable for alpine regions, as severe condensation occurs already below 4°C (39°F). Mr. Siegfried Kohler has acknowledged the defect but refuses to find a compromise to help us.
Another project in Burgenland and our architect have experienced the same problem.
If you are also having issues with Velfac 200 windows, please write to me!
Best regards from Vienna
