Hello everyone,
I’m struggling with my IKEA kitchen here.
Of course, I have a Lillviken trap since nothing else is compatible.
Now I’m facing the problem that I want to connect both my dishwasher and washing machine there. The water supply works perfectly. I have a Y-connector on the water inlet, hoses attached, and that’s fine.
But there are huge problems with the drains. The simple trap only allows connecting one appliance drain. Apparently, there is no suitable splitter piece (plus, without additional standpipes, I risk wastewater flowing from one appliance into the other).
So I went back to IKEA and bought the larger trap. Now I have two drains, each with its own standpipe, but I also need to connect a second sink because otherwise all the sauce spills out there.
Now I’m stuck. There must be a way to connect two appliances but only one sink (which is how most people usually do it), right?!?
Please help me!
Best regards
