Hello everyone!
We are looking for really LIGHT gray natural stone tiles, something in the range of RAL Light Gray.
Slate gray is unfortunately too dark. And the granite Viscount White also looks darker.
We would prefer NATURAL STONE over engineered stone, but we are about to give up… are there no light gray natural stones?

Your requirements are incompatible. Even granite is sensitive to acids. Use tiles – seriously. And avoid very light colors, or choose tiles with a strong pattern. Otherwise, you’ll regret it if you don’t have domestic help.

Another item for my “Things I will do differently with the next house” list... So, would you have natural stone or too light, plain-colored tiles?

tiles that are too bright and plainExactly. With only a very subtle grain pattern as a design. But you can see every single stain very clearly. Even dust, etc. Ideally, you would need to mop every day.Tolentino schrieb:
Every spot shows up extremely clearly. Even dust, etc. You basically have to mop every day. I did it quite the opposite and now regret it. In the hallways, I have dark slate tiles with a grain pattern. Dirt is actually not that visible there. The problem is that they always look dirty even when they are spotless after cleaning... I really regret not installing the wood-look tiles continuously. They are excellent in every respect.

I did it the exact opposite way and still regret it today. Dark slate tiles with a grain pattern in the hallways. You really can’t see dirt that well on them. The problem is that they always look dirty because of that, even when they are cleaned spotless... I really regret not just continuing the wood-look tiles throughout. They are excellent in every respect. We also have black tiles. I can only somewhat recommend them for areas prone to dirt because you can see every footprint from light gravel dust. I wouldn’t say they look permanently dirty though.
