Hello

I wanted to ask, if I use one of the two products listed above, do I need to apply a primer to the wall before installing tiles and tile adhesive?

I have used Knauf products before. You need to waterproof the base before tiling. There are different options for this. I applied a waterproofing membrane, which can be done quickly and easily.

Hello Louis,
Thank you for your information. I will try that soon as well, and I hope I can manage it.
Best regards

Hey,
With a bit of skill, it’s definitely doable. I also tried it several times at first and then it worked well. You can effectively decouple critical subfloors this way. Once it sticks, it stays firmly in place.

So, just be confident and get to work.

The company Knauf offers good products on the market, and I enjoy working with them. Especially with PCI shower waterproofing, it’s a reliable solution. We always ensure proper sealing, as there are standards for that. I do this not only in my own house but also on other construction sites.

I used that in our bathroom as well. Before I started the work, I watched a video. It was very helpful and supported me during the process. I would definitely recommend it.
