Hello.
We have now completed the kitchen planning (see photos). Only the colors are still missing. The floor will be wood-colored tiles. Appliances: Bosch oven and dishwasher, Elica Tesla Switch induction cooktop (nothing else was available 🙂 ), LG side-by-side fridge/freezer, Eufy robot vacuum that can go under the island from the side. The countertop is ordered; it will be natural stone with a marble look (see photo). Now the question about the cabinet colors. We mostly want gloss white lacquer. The wall with the side-by-side fridge should be different. Either the color of the floor (photo attached), anthracite, or also gloss white lacquer? 🙂
Do you perhaps have similar kitchens and could share some experiences/photos?
Thank you very much.

We are not fans of anything too colorful 🙂 and we think the furniture color and floor color look the same (see photo).I can understand that well 🙂 it was just a suggestion.
I think you can see a difference between the shades, but it could also be due to the lighting.
If anything, I wouldn’t cover the entire wall with wood effect, but rather, if possible, a strip in the middle. Or at least leave the cabinets below (and above) white. That way, the two wood tones don’t touch and potentially clash. Over the years, the cabinets might also change color slightly. And having everything in wood might feel too heavy.

What if the furniture trims at the top and bottom were done in clear white lacquer? Then there would be no visible transition, and the slight differences wouldn’t be noticeable… Sorry, I only half read your post earlier.
Great minds think alike 🙂
Yes, that’s how I would do it. It can look really good.
"Similar" often clashes. Moldings in a different finish could then appear striped.
If I may add: the entire left wall up to the ceiling creates an imbalance compared to the other walls and could feel overwhelming despite the light color.
I would choose the wall cabinets in a different finish.
P.S. I really like the access point.

Therefore, if it were my kitchen, I would add a splash of color, for example, a muted blue-gray shade. That’s quite a bold choice for a splash of color 😉Fuchsbau35 schrieb:
Now, all the cabinets are glossy white with the rest of the layout unchanged. I would need to introduce color differently in that case. For closed and minimalistic kitchens with more or less just a wall, I like using a photo wallpaper with a cooking or spice theme. Maybe that could be an idea?N

Like Yvonne, I would rather consider highlighting the wall cabinets ... that way there won’t be any conflicts with the flooring. It’s difficult because then you can’t get straight lines. I already presented this to the boss (wife). It was rejected 🙂
By the way, the backsplash at the window is supposed to be light, and we are trying to match it to the countertop. The countertop will arrive and be selected last.
