Hello.

We have now completed the kitchen planning (see photos). Only the colors are still missing. The floor will be wood-colored tiles. Appliances: Bosch oven and dishwasher, Elica Tesla Switch induction cooktop (nothing else was available 🙂 ), LG side-by-side fridge/freezer, Eufy robot vacuum that can go under the island from the side. The countertop is ordered; it will be natural stone with a marble look (see photo). Now the question about the cabinet colors. We mostly want gloss white lacquer. The wall with the side-by-side fridge should be different. Either the color of the floor (photo attached), anthracite, or also gloss white lacquer? 🙂
Do you perhaps have similar kitchens and could share some experiences/photos?

Thank you very much.

The display cabinet next to the island is being removed. We made some improvements there. 😎

Among these options, I would vote for the color of the floor and want to explain why, so you can decide if you agree or prefer the opposite: In my opinion, the floor color brings more warmth to the kitchen, making it feel less sterile. Additionally, I do not like anthracite at all.

Perhaps it would be helpful if you could also share photos of the adjoining dining/living room. I assume the kitchen opens into the dining/living area?

The kitchen is semi-open. The flooring is continuous throughout. The kitchen is separated from the living room by a wall with an open approximately 1.70m (5 ft 7 in) wide opening, where only a door frame will be installed, no door. In the picture, you can see the entrance to the kitchen on the left side.

Room with installed underfloor heating: numerous pipes laid in loops, door to the garden visible.

Great selection!
I’m a big fan of white kitchens with wood elements (flooring, countertops, etc.). But I also like some color. So if it were my kitchen, I would add a splash of color, for example, a muted blue-gray shade. Of course, it should match your overall interior style. I wouldn’t choose the floor color for that, since it’s hard to match exactly and it can look odd.
My current kitchen (rental apartment): anthracite floor tiles, high-gloss white base cabinets and tall cabinet, wooden countertop, wall cabinets with turquoise frosted glass doors. Unfortunately, this wasn’t possible in the new kitchen for various reasons. Now all the cabinets are high-gloss white, with the rest of the setup remaining the same. I’ll have to bring color in a different way then.

We’re not fans of anything too colorful 🙂 and we think the furniture color and floor color look the same (see photo).

What if the top and bottom edges of the furniture were finished in clear white lacquer? That way, there would be no visible separation, and the slight differences wouldn’t be noticeable...
