No, without any grain. Instead, we have texture on the floor and in the furniture. However, we do not have matching furniture sets from a department store, but rather various individual pieces.

The tiles are installed first, and then the doors are fitted, right?

That surprised me a bit...

Real wood doors felt too old-fashioned for our style. Doors with wood decor often look a bit cheap, especially lighter wood tones.

Therefore, we chose white doors (in CPL finish; currently, we have painted doors in our rental apartment, which don’t hold up at all). We really like them combined with parquet flooring, tinted walls, and white baseboards. Attached are two pictures, one with and one without a glass panel.

As a general rule, floor coverings are installed first, then the door frames, and later the skirting boards.

So, since we are installing the flooring ourselves, do we need to lay the floor before the doors are fitted? I thought we could do that calmly at the very end.
