Hello,
we are currently considering which interior doors to choose.
I would prefer white doors because they are neutral and match everything, but my husband doesn’t like that at all.
Maybe you can inspire me and show what kind of doors you have ; )

Throughout the entire house (except for the living room to hallway area), we have cross-laid larch cashmere CPL laminate flooring with rounded edges.
Bright kitchen area with built-in oven, white tall cabinet, gray door, and dark tiles.

Pah....We love beech!! The furniture is made from solid heartwood beech, the floor is light neutral maple parquet, and the doors are white... This combination simply works with everything.

Solid beech wood furniture with an oiled finish looks better than those orangey beech doors. I also don’t like it when too many types of wood are mixed; in the end, it just doesn’t look harmonious.

Best regards,
Sabine

You’re right, Sabine. Unfortunately, I can always immediately tell whether it’s real wood or just an imitation. Since we don’t like faux wood and the solid wood doors were too expensive for us, we ended up choosing a neutral white. We’re very happy with that decision.

Hello,

we would decide the same way. We also find the "trend" towards wood look (tiles and vinyl made to look like wood) just dreadful.

We will also choose neutral white interior doors. But what about HPL, CPL, or lacquered doors? What makes the most sense? We have a little daughter.

Best regards, Barossi

HPL or CPL are suitable for Bobycar use. HPL-coated doors are a bit more durable.

Real wooden doors seemed too old-fashioned for our style. Doors with wood patterns often look somewhat cheap, especially lighter wood tones.

So we chose white doors (CPL finish; currently, we have painted doors in our rental, and they don’t hold up well), which we really like combined with parquet flooring, tinted walls, and white baseboards. Attached are two pictures, one with and one without glass inserts.

Nice floor, what type is it?
