ᐅ Ikea Silicone Caps for Granas?

The glass top of the Granas rests on silicone pads that are inserted into the metal table frame. The glass is adjusted on and rests non-slip on the rounded surface of these pads.

Due to sun exposure, these pads have become misshapen and have developed an oily yellowish discoloration. As a result, the glass top slides around on the frame. Are replacement parts available for this at IKEA or similar items at a hardware store?

No, you would have them shipped to you.[/quote]

Exactly!

Since I also have this table, I ordered the plugs and was informed that they are ordered from their warehouse in Sweden and delivered free of charge.

If you have an IKEA card, you don’t provide more data on the IKEA website than they already have, and significantly less data than most other heavily tracked sites, unless you browse using TOR.

Hard to believe, but today the plugs were already in the mailbox.

@Nordkäppchen: Thanks for the information, so they do exist, that was all I wanted to know! 😀

You convinced me – I want to sell the table and originally didn’t want to deal with new plugs anymore. I just wanted to inform the buyer whether they can still get replacements. But with new plugs, the table definitely fetches a better price. 😉

The time from ordering to delivery took longer for me. After placing the order, I first received an email stating that it could take a few days because there were a lot of incoming orders at the moment. About 10 days later, I got an email saying the plugs were being shipped directly from Sweden, and 3 days after that, they arrived.
