Hello everyone!
We are currently assembling our Metod kitchen and have run into a problem. We have a Rakall fridge-freezer combination and a 220cm (87 inches) tall Metod cabinet. An IKEA employee told us to use the 125-degree hinges because they allow the doors to open wide enough to fully pull out the vegetable drawer.

Now the problem: When assembled like this, the fridge-freezer is positioned as far left as possible inside the cabinet, including the rubber seal that should be installed according to the instructions. However, when you open the fridge door, it scrapes against the hinges because the 125-degree hinges are noticeably thicker than the 95-degree hinges. This can’t be right, can it? Does anyone have experience with this or any advice? We have already lifted the fridge in and out about 10 times today but haven’t found a smart solution yet.

Thank you very much in advance!

Hello, I think he told the employees nonsense. Why would they sell 95° hinges if the others work just as well?

I also think that the 125° is nonsense. The 95° is the correct one!

If the vegetable drawer cannot be pulled out using the regular hinges, how is it supposed to be installed at all? In my opinion, all the refrigerators I tested at IKEA did not have any limitations in this regard.

Yes, it seems the statement was not correct. After a long back and forth, we installed the 95-degree hinges yesterday. This definitely fits now.
Thanks for the responses!
