Dear IKEA fans,
Although I have never failed to assemble an IKEA piece of furniture before, today I am experiencing my first issue.
I bought a 3m (10 feet) Pax wardrobe (2x 1.5m / 2x 5 feet) with sliding doors. One sliding door is Hasvik high gloss, the other is AULI (mirror doors). We wanted to install the HASVIK doors first, and they are properly placed in the tracks. However, they cannot be fully opened or closed because the "snap stopper / stopper / plastic clip" prevents this. I have already moved both "snappers" all the way to the outside on both sides, but they won’t go any further.
I uploaded two photos here that might better illustrate where my problem lies:

I have already searched the forum and found many Pax sliding door issues, but none match my problem exactly. I would like to resolve the issue with the Hasvik doors first before hanging the heavy mirror doors to avoid facing the same problem there.
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this.
Thanks and best regards
Mrm

In your case, this part is placed directly at the back of the metal frame. On page 21, there is a side rail that seems to hold the part further forward.
This is just a guess, as I don’t have any PAX wardrobes.

IKEA-Experte30 Oct 2016 20:25You can’t see the cut piece that goes into the plastic part. That’s why I think the rollers have been swapped.
You have the metal bracket shown at the top in the wrong groove. If you look from above, you will see two grooves – one in the front and one in the back. The large angle bracket you see here needs to go into the front groove, so you just need to rehung the door. You can do this by yourself. Then everything should work smoothly.
