Hello,

maybe someone can clarify this for me.
We want to buy a Pax wardrobe (including interior drawers), but we are looking for a model with some kind of "continuity guarantee" for the near future—so not a discontinued model.

All information from IKEA regarding colors is contradictory. (Home Planner, IKEA online catalog, IKEA main catalog 2010, IKEA bedroom catalog print version, IKEA environmental paper catalog A4, a few pages...)

The following colors have been mentioned, never all at once but repeatedly in different combinations...

Question: Which of these are new, and which are discontinued models?

- White
- Beech
- Birch
- Oak imitation
- White-stained oak
- Black-brown
- Gray
- Antique finish

Thanks in advance!

Hi

a small tip, try to postpone everything until around 27.08.2010.
In my experience, things that receive less attention tend to fade away.

Ok, thanks for the information. Maybe that really makes sense, but then we will be without a wardrobe for over a month...

Based on experience: do prices tend to rise or fall?

Phew, I really have no idea how prices will change. Being without a wardrobe for a long time is obviously not ideal.

Our Pax is about 8-9 years old. Apart from the clothes rails, I can’t combine anything else in terms of fittings, doors, or the carcass with our current setup (2.22m (7 ft 3 in) high, folding doors, beech/white).

So, I know this problem quite well when it comes to buying additional pieces...

Sure, it would be helpful if we had a buy-back guarantee for at least one year.
With "white," that’s probably not an issue, but we are currently considering an oak imitation, and the color is a bit of a concern for me...
