ᐅ Ikea Metod – Which 45 cm Dishwasher Fits Without Issues?

there are already several similar threads in this forum, but they didn’t really help me:

I have installed a Metod kitchen and am now looking for a fully integrated 45 cm (18 inches) dishwasher. Can anyone tell me which models would actually fit? XXL dishwashers from Siemens and similar brands seem to be available only for 60 cm (24 inches) wide spaces. Can I still use any 45 cm (18 inches) dishwasher from Siemens and then (at a high cost) buy the accessory “folding hinge for tall cabinet heights”? Also, what about the Ikea model Medelstor, which according to the website is not taller than a branded dishwasher—how does it fit into the 88 cm (34.5 inches) niche height?

so far there are no experience reports here on using the folding hinge for tall cabinet dimensions. Based on the measurements, it doesn’t seem to fit, but it might work within tolerance limits. However, that would be an experiment.
If you want to avoid any adjustments, only the medelstor is recommended. There might be a model with "Perfect Fit" from AEG, but essentially it is just the MEDELSTOR, which comes from AEG (Electrolux).
