ikea_user19 Jun 2015 22:23Hello,
how satisfied are you with the Maximera drawers? We visited IKEA today and tested the drawers. When the drawer is loaded a bit heavier, it closes almost without slowing down. Compared to Nobilia drawers, IKEA’s soft-close dampers are too weak.
Is it possible to adjust the dampers?
Regards

the dampers cannot be adjusted. I have not noticed this with my drawers before. Has this been observed with several drawers, and was it in Germany?

IKEA-Experte20 Jun 2015 17:54I just tried it again with a heavily loaded drawer. It only looks like it’s not braking smoothly if I slam the drawer shut with too much force, but it doesn’t actually make a loud noise. Of course, I could close it so hard that it would slam, but I don’t want to treat my cabinets with that kind of rough handling.
Hettich drawers generally have stronger braking, as you can see [urlhttps://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/885455/GedaempfterEinzug.AVI]here[/url].
