Hello everyone,

I have already read some threads on this topic in this forum, but unfortunately, some links are no longer accessible and some posts referenced in those threads are missing.

About my project:

We have an "old" Faktum kitchen, which has cabinet doors and drawers without any soft-closing mechanism – it’s quite annoying! Even small rubber bumpers don’t help. The cabinet doors have since been fitted with aftermarket concealed hinges and Blum soft-closing dampers – which work really well! Unfortunately, I’m a bit confused about the drawers. In my opinion, Rationell H dampers (as described in this thread) cannot be used. Instead, Rationell B dampers are recommended. However, I cannot find any information or purchasing options for these dampers online – maybe I’m just missing something?

It would be great if someone could assist me with the conversion.

For the rails shown, you need Rationell B soft-close drawer dampers.

Check if all the other rails look exactly the same at the back.
IKEA-Experte seems like a suitable contact person; maybe you could briefly look into my project?

Best regards

Thank you @Tolentino – I am familiar with this feature from other forums, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me when creating a quick post – though maybe I just didn’t get it 🤨

@Tux could you please help?
