I am planning to buy a Besta TV stand soon. My AV receiver is about 16cm (6 inches) high and therefore does not fit completely into one compartment.
Is it possible to install two Inreda folding hinges with 16cm (6 inches) high fronts one above the other and remove the middle shelf to create one large compartment?
Can the BESTA push-to-open doors be combined with the folding hinges? Without the middle shelf, there should be enough holes available.

according to the assembly instructions, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work with the two folding hinges.
I’m not sure if the electric strike is strong enough to push the flap open. Try it out; if it doesn’t work, you can simply add a handle to one of the flaps.
