Hello everyone,

The basic instructions are actually in the Utrusta manual for the 125/153 degree hinges, but somehow I just can’t get it.
What sequence has proven effective for perfectly adjusting the hinges?
Let’s name the three screws per hinge from LEFT to RIGHT as "A-B-C," assuming the door is hinged on the LEFT side of the cabinet and the door is open.

First, I aligned all the parts that you attach to the cabinet so that screw "B" is AT THE TOP, then snapped the door in place.
After several attempts, I still can’t get the doors to be flush and level at the top of the cabinet.

I guess I’m just “blind” at the moment!

Help! 🙂

Just now, someone on Facebook sent me these instructions....

"First, check if the entire frame is submerged in water. Then adjust A, B, and C so that they are approximately equal. Hang the door. Now align A. If it fits, adjust C. If that fits, adjust B so that the door closes or stays closed by itself. Try to set the screws as evenly as possible, if you can. Work from top to bottom and relieve some pressure on the door while tightening the hinges, since it’s hanging there. Repeat this process as often as needed until it fits."

It was from a kitchen installer...

So, did it work out? The doors do not close flush with the frame at the top and bottom. The frame protrudes by approximately 1.5 mm (0.06 inches) in each case.

No, I’m still working on the INSEL assembly.

Oh, so there MUST be a 1.5 mm (0.06 inches) gap at the top from the top panel or the side walls?

Yes, because this way you always have a 3 mm (0.12 inch) gap between the doors, whether the cabinets are installed side by side or stacked.
