In a similar situation, I installed an additional wooden frame structure behind the drywall. I then mounted the cabinets directly to this frame using strong brackets and long screws. This way, you can safely transfer the load to the ceiling joists or wall studs.
IKEA mounting kits are generally designed for solid walls and are often insufficient for sloped ceilings. But donât worry! With the right screws and custom-made hangers, it works perfectly. Just donât rely solely on the mounting kit! You can do it!
