I am planning to purchase the Ikea Brimnes bedroom series and have started looking into the assembly process. Since I prefer not to waste time on frustrating assembly sessions, I am specifically interested in how challenging the assembly of Brimnes actually is.

I’d like to briefly share my experience with the Ikea Brimnes range. For me, the assembly wasn’t too difficult — although I admit I do enjoy DIY projects ?️. The instructions are typically minimalistic, as you’d expect from Ikea, but completely sufficient if you follow the steps carefully and don’t rush.
What I liked: since the material is quite lightweight, you rarely struggle with heavy parts during assembly. This is an advantage, but it might also lead some people to feel it’s “not sturdy.” However, when everything is properly assembled, it holds up very well!
Regarding the time investment: I assembled the bed and wardrobe in one afternoon with another person, including some pasta sauce on our arms ?. So no need to panic; it’s definitely manageable.
One small tip: entice your helpers with drinks and good music – it makes the whole building process much more enjoyable!
