Since I want to keep the assembly time as short as possible, I’m interested in any strategies or tips you can recommend to make the process as efficient and quick as possible. I’m looking for both organizational advice, such as assembling in teams or specific preparation steps, as well as technical tricks that make the assembly easier or faster. While one person prepares the side panels, another can handle the back panel, and a third can join the individual modules. This prevents bottlenecks and keeps the work synchronized. It is important to carefully check for millimeter (inch) deviations during mutual inspections, as these can cause fitting issues later with such large pieces of furniture. Have you already decided whether you will assemble the pax alone or with several helpers? That could make the recommendation more precise.
To optimize the assembly process, I also recommend downloading the manual digitally in advance and keeping it open on a large screen. This way, you don’t have to constantly search through the printed booklet. Additionally, organizing the screws by type and size in small bowls is helpful. Having a second set of common tools ready also saves trips back and forth. When installing the drawer slides, it is advisable to use a spirit level to ensure everything fits precisely and no rework is needed.
