These drawers are one of the standard models where I did not choose damped closing initially, which now turns out to be somewhat impractical – the slamming of the drawers is quite annoying in everyday use.

My question is: Is there an easy way to modify the existing Metod drawers so that they close softly and quietly without having to buy completely new drawers or slide systems? If yes, how exactly is this done, what should be taken into account, and which parts are needed? Any tips are greatly appreciated!

You can only retrofit the soft-close function on Metod drawers if your drawers have metal rail systems that are compatible with dampers.
