Hello, we are currently in the process of assembling our high-gloss kitchen. Now I would like to ask how you take care of yours. Some say definitely no microfiber cloths, others do use them... then there are those who recommend Sidolin or other dishwashing liquids. I haven’t really found anyone who can give clear advice on this yet. Maybe someone has some experience to share. 😀 Best regards, emma08

Hello,

IKEA recommends not using any alcoholic substances in the Ringhult instructions:
4 To increase durability, dampen the surface with a soft cloth and a mild soap solution (max. 1%). IMPORTANT! Do not use any alcohol-based products or abrasives.

5 Dry the surface with a soft cloth.

For daily care, please follow step 4.

To avoid losing any warranty or guarantee claims, I would stick to this advice 🙂.
Best regards,

Hello,
at first, I treated my high-gloss fronts with new car paint care cream and polishing, which made the surface much more resistant 🙂. I have an older Ikea cabinet series in the bathroom that also has high-gloss fronts, and back then, Ikea even recommended this.
