That would look even better. On the left, we’ll install two nice French doors. That way, it won’t look so much like a garage door there. kaho674 schrieb:
When I look at the bedroom from #1, in my opinion, that is really close to poor planning. Well, that was supposed to be the walk-in closet; and I had already hinted at the origin of the planning.

If you like typing that much, sign up on a single platform, you really sound very depressed. I had simply noted that this internal kitchen window in your house would be more practically positioned than in the current poster’s home.

Good luck, kid! On the other hand, I find it quite inappropriate when you sulk about my posts in other people’s threads. Click on my name, an orange box will open, the first option on the right is “Ignore” – then my posts won’t bother you anymore.

I just pointed out that this internal kitchen window in your house would be more practically positioned than in the original poster’s house here.
What I find truly out of place, however, is when you express your displeasure about my posts in other people’s threads. Click on my name, an orange box will open, and the first option on the right is "Ignore"—then my posts won’t bother you anymore. That wouldn’t be necessary if the moderators here actually checked your posts.

Pretty simple......

but your approach often doesn’t work at all, you simply exaggerate, and if moderators were to follow up on that, I wouldn’t even need to ignore you. I am a moderator elsewhere myself and find it disrespectful when people think moderators or admins are clueless and believe that a member with the third highest number of posts would go unnoticed. You don’t have to use the ignore button feature—that is entirely your choice, and you shouldn’t complain about it, especially not in other people’s threads. Feel free to start your own “11ant is mean” thread if you want; it won’t bother me.

Mean people are something different to me... and I don’t hate you either.
I strongly believe that if a newcomer sees this kind of behavior from a member with the third most posts, they’ll wonder, what kind of forum is this?!
My message to you: a little self-reflection, nothing more!!
Have a nice weekend!
PS: Giving criticism is fine, but the way you do it is totally disrespectful and leaves a negative impression.

PS: It’s okay to express criticism, but the way you do it is totally disrespectful and leaves a negative impression. I like to be humorous and certainly also a bit sharp, but I usually don’t criticize the original posters; I prefer to call out architects who would be better off working as night taxi drivers. Just look at what Katja and Kerstin present here, both as hobbyists. And then there are people with diplomas who charge money calling themselves architects, coming up with plans where even fairly experienced amateurs can immediately see that the poor client will end up hitting their head when getting up, going to the bathroom, showering, or on the stairs, etc. Sometimes you can’t just stay calm and say a prayer; you have to tell the client: better get rid of that guy fast.

I strongly assume that when a newcomer is here and sees this kind of behavior from a member with the “third most posts” Honestly: there are two kinds of threads: those with few replies. Here, the questioners are mostly grateful, first for my explanations, even if you need to read slowly because of my tendency for long sentences; and second, because with me you rarely have to wonder what is fact and what is opinion. That makes it easier to filter out opinions — plus I like to explain things so you can quickly tell whether you share the underlying assumptions.
And those with many replies: there you just scroll past mine quickly and barely notice them. Because they contain few images and therefore offer little “hooks” to stick to.

My message to you … a little self-reflection, that’s all !! No, thanks. If I thought I was important, I’d see a doctor. Others are welcome to reflect on me — preferably those who are clearly active here beyond just asking their own questions. And in that regard, you still have some catching up to do, I’d say.
