The most important thing is to clarify every detail in advance and make sure it is carried out exactly as agreed.

It is important to carefully check whether all agreements have been followed, because then you are entitled to have any damages and so on repaired as agreed.

Maier GmbH17 Nov 2008 20:07You might want to look at the work of different architects to make comparisons. Also, ask around among your acquaintances—do you know anyone who has recently built a house? As Harald points out, it is important that everything is agreed upon in detail beforehand and put down in writing (!).
