However, when choosing an architect, you should first check which other companies or workers they collaborate with... and it’s best to include in the contract that you have the right to select all the workers yourself, as this can save you money and allow you to choose the best ones.

You should choose a company from nearby; if a business is local, it has a reputation to maintain. With a company coming from farther away, I believe there is a higher risk involved. Also, there is likely someone in your city for whom they have already worked.

So far, I have only heard good things about architects and their work from acquaintances. Although in some cases, it became very expensive.

Hello! I and some acquaintances have generally had very good experiences with architects. Occasionally, an invoice took a long time to arrive, but other than that, there was nothing to complain about.

If you contact an architect, ask them to show you houses they have designed. This way, you can get an idea of their style. When I look at some houses, I wouldn’t want that architect to design my home!

I believe that if you have the money to afford one, it makes a lot of sense. This way, you have the freedom to include many small details during construction that might be impossible with self-planning.
