Hello everyone,

Does anyone have experience with Nolte furniture? Specifically, the Horizont 8000 wardrobe system?

We have received a quote for our dressing room/wardrobe space and are actually close to accepting the offer.

What we especially like compared to Ikea Pax and similar options is that the wardrobes would be 2.42m (7 ft 11 in) tall, and the remaining space up to the ceiling would be covered with a panel, as well as a small gap between the end of the wardrobe wall and the room wall. So it would be like a built-in wardrobe.

In terms of price, it’s a huge (positive) difference compared to a carpenter’s offer. But that’s probably not because the carpenter uses solid wood or something similar. :/

Regarding kitchens, Nolte represents solid mid-range quality, so I believe the wardrobes are likely similar. That would be perfectly fine for us; I just don’t want to buy something flimsy.

Best regards

I have no experience with the specific wardrobe, but I do with a Nolte bedroom set. After about 2 and a half years, a door next to it came loose. I received no response to my letters.

Even though the topic is a bit older, are there any additional experiences with Noelte, especially regarding the cabinet segment?

Best regards

Normally, you can also get something from a carpenter for that amount of money. Just ask for both (comparable quality) and compare.

We have a Nolte kitchen. There is nothing to complain about regarding the quality. Compared to a Pax wardrobe, it’s a completely different league.

We also had a Nolte kitchen for 15 years and were very satisfied with it (solid construction, good hinges, and drawer slides). It still serves our successor well.

I would strongly advise against Nolte! After only 4 years, all our cabinet fronts fell off, and despite a 10-year warranty, Nolte replaced nothing for us.
