I really like the new Förbettra under-cabinet light from IKEA.
It is 37 cm (15 inches) wide.
I want the Bodbyn fronts. The under-cabinet light comes with a decorative trim. The color of this trim is not clear in the picture.
Has anyone had experience with this?
Is it possible to combine the light with the decorative trim from the Bodbyn series, or is it one or the other?
What does the decorative trim of the under-cabinet light look like?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Visually, it should work fine since it’s more or less in the shadow beneath the cabinet doors, so the difference between opal white and ivory white probably won’t be noticeable. What I personally find really unfortunate is that the lamp is so dim. :-( The 40cm (16 inches) wide lamp has 150 lm, which means 375 lm/m (115 lm/ft). I think that’s relatively low and I would only use it if the backsplashes and similar surfaces are white. For darker panels or backsplashes, I would definitely choose brighter lamps.
So now I know better.
The new under-cabinet light from Ikea can only be installed without a fascia strip.
It is exactly as wide as the upper cabinets, down to the millimeter.
