Hello,
yesterday we visited a showroom to look at natural stone tiles and were really impressed.
We especially liked beige/brown travertine tiles laid in a Roman pattern.
Then there were Peacock multicolor slate tiles and finely split slate called "Mustang."
Does anyone have experience with natural stone tiles?
So far, most opinions I have read are positive. After sealing, the floors are reportedly easy to maintain and resistant to damage.
Maybe someone here has experience and can share some insights...

I just wrote a similar post about marble flooring.
Please take a look; I’m unable to share links via Tapatalk.
Regarding taste: it’s quite specific, and to me it fits a modernized farmhouse cottage... When combining old and new, I prefer modern materials, such as flooring, paired with an old wardrobe or dresser rather than the other way around.
Otherwise: if you can afford natural stone, then it should be the choice.

Lile08, what did it turn out to be? I was also planning to lay natural stone slabs in my garden. Near Recklinghausen, there is a pretty good natural stone supplier, if you can call it that. I felt like they advised me based on my ideas rather than their profit. If you know what I mean.

We chose Peacock slate for the living room, kitchen, hallway, and bathroom.
It looks amazing.
I still have to wait and see how the cleaning and maintenance go, as we are just moving in now.
