ᐅ DIY automatic door closer for IKEA PAX wardrobe doors

Hello everyone,

I have a somewhat unusual request: I would like the doors of my Ikea Pax wardrobe to close automatically.

My wardrobe looks roughly like this:

The doors are attached with soft-closing hinges.

Does anyone have an idea how I could make a door closer for this wardrobe? The closer should be relatively weak so that I can still open the drawer easily.

Thank you. I have read through it. They use brake flap holders from Hettich-Aquila there. However, the prices for these closing systems are well beyond what I can afford and am willing to pay. I am rather looking for a well-functioning low-budget solution 😀

Low budget? Have a friend stand behind the door.
