Please let the tile collect some dust or have some hairs on it first. Then simulate appropriate light reflection.

I also like black quite a bit, but from experience, not on the floor, at least not as a uniform color.

Yes, I have already done all of that!
We currently have a black high-gloss polished tile in the bathroom...
I know what I’m getting into :-)

Take your floor plan and transfer it onto a sheet of paper.
Place it in the center of the sheet.
Imagine the floor plan in 3D and unfold it completely.
Then draw each wall “unfolded” along with the sanitary fixtures as a top view.
Now you can arrange and test the tiles using colored pencils.
