I have a decorative front panel (maximum 4 mm deep) for a fridge and freezer (each approximately 88 cm (35 inches) high, stacked separately). Does IKEA offer such panels for front cladding? So far, I have only found cover strips that are 1.4 cm (0.6 inches) thick. My current idea is to use a tall cabinet for built-in appliances without doors and then find suitable cover panels like these...
If not, does anyone have a tip on where to get something like this?
Thank you very much!

Nayla_10684 Nov 2012 12:01Hi,
there are doors sized 60 x 90cm (24 x 35 inches) and 1.6cm (0.6 inches) thick. However, the height and width are always slightly undersized by about 2–4mm (0.08–0.16 inches). The cost for Applad is 19€.

PS: Being able to read properly is clearly an advantage—I read 4cm instead of mm. 4mm is very little. How do you intend to fix that???

IKEA-Experte4 Nov 2012 15:23IKEA does not offer decorative panels. In the past, decorative frames were often available as optional accessories for freestanding appliances. These are now rarely or no longer available. The only option I can think of is to cut a door or cover panel to the appropriate height and mill a groove on the side for the decorative frame to fit into.

This will be a difficult task.
