Hello everyone,

My mother is moving in with us, and we need a stairlift for our staircase from the ground floor to the first floor. Fortunately, the staircase is straight, so I think installation shouldn’t be too expensive or complicated. It’s probably better to have professionals do the installation rather than trying it ourselves, right?
Does anyone have experience with this? I’ve already found out that subsidies of up to 2,557 euros (€) may be available from health insurance. We’re also overwhelmed when it comes to choosing a manufacturer.
Looking forward to any advice!

Thank you

I might be in the wrong place with the health insurance question, but maybe someone here knows about the installation. I have already done some research and found a small overview with several manufacturers.
For example, Ahorn stairlifts is located in Düsseldorf, where I live. Can anyone recommend this or another manufacturer?
