Hello everyone,

First of all, thank you for this great forum. It has already helped me a lot. Now I need your direct help again. We are currently converting part of our stables into a small bathroom, and there will be an additional sink in the adjoining workshop. I am currently installing the wastewater pipes and have what might seem like a very simple/basic question to you: how exactly do the wastewater pipes coming out of the wall terminate? There have been more difficult issues before, but this small detail is really driving me crazy.

I run the pipe vertically from below inside the stud wall. Should I finish with a standard DN50 (2 inch) 90-degree elbow and end it flush with the future tiles, or slightly recessed into the wall? Here is the product: Geberit 90-degree elbow.

Or should I put a connector sleeve on the 90-degree elbow and then maybe cut it flush with the future tiles? Connector sleeve.

Or should I use a 90-degree bend with integral connection and cut this flush with the tiles later? 90-degree connection bend.

I hope you can help me out here.

Best regards,
Simon
