Hello,

We had a metal carport built. The carport roof drains over the posts. There is a drain at the bottom. I would like to connect this to the house’s roof drainage system. For this, I am using underground PVC pipes with a nominal diameter of 100 mm (4 inches).

The outlet from the carport is round with an outer diameter of about 49 mm (2 inches) and an inner diameter of about 42 mm (1.65 inches). Which adapters can I use to connect this to the DN100 pipe? Unfortunately, I haven’t found anything suitable.

Please find some pictures attached.

Thank you very much and best regards

Thank you for the feedback. The problem is that this is not UV-resistant. Does anyone have an alternative suggestion? Many thanks.

Well, something like this... a waste water reducer fitting, and up to that point, make sure you lay proper piping from the carport.

The one shown in the previous post is also available as a PVC reducer fitting.

There are also versions of the latter type that you can cut to size. This way, the dimensions should always fit.

Great, thank you very much for the input. That helps me a lot.

Now I still need to find a proper connection to the basement pipe (anthracite). Unfortunately, I can’t find any pipes that fit. The outer diameter at the carport is 49 mm (2 inches). Pipes with a nominal diameter of 50 have an internal diameter of 53 mm (2 1/16 inches) at the socket. Do you have any tips for me?
