After casually asking my architect about the costs for our planned carport, he estimated, based on volume calculations, that the carport would cost around €19,000.
The carport is planned to be about 6.25m x 8.5m (20.5ft x 27.9ft), including a storage room and a bicycle room—basically a classic double carport with two lockable sliding doors at the back for storing garden equipment.
Does anyone here have experience if this figure is accurate? My parents had a brick-faced double garage with a sectional door about 15 years ago (they got around +€5,000 for it), which might be comparable.
Maybe the architect had something like that in mind, which actually matches my ideas. See the picture

Hippo198426 Sep 2017 12:27You just have to be careful who you end up with... There are quite a few sellers offering something like this, some even have the same direct manufacturer. You can also contact the manufacturer directly, as they also provide offers. There are very few who manufacture in Germany, unlike many others who produce abroad with often lower quality.
