Hello, we are planning to build this year.
We already know exactly what we want.
An L-shaped bungalow with a pitched roof and open ceilings in the living and dining area.
While looking for inspiration, I wanted to ask if anyone here has built something like this?
If so, I would really appreciate photos and feedback.
(Please also include photos of the rooms with the open ceilings.)
Thank you.

A corner bungalow with a gable roof and open ceilings in the living and dining area. In my opinion, a traditional L-shaped bungalow looks a bit off when paired with a gable roof.
My recommended reading as an "introduction to the topic" would be this: https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/Bungalow-ca-168qm.24274 – I believe we also once discussed open roof undersides in the living and dining areas there.

Why slanted? I was referring to an L shape, not a U.
By the way, the acoustic ceiling in the pictured Hauscompagnie design wouldn’t be my preference for a residential house.
