Hello everyone,
to keep it short: What do you think about having a bathtub (with whirlpool function) in the bedroom?
Since we are renovating and have to work around the load-bearing walls, the bathroom can’t be large enough to comfortably fit a shower, bathtub, toilet, and double vanity. Because the adjacent master bedroom is very spacious, I have been considering placing the bathtub there.
The advantage is more space in the bathroom. Some questions I have are: Do I still need the rest of the bathroom if I take baths? How will it look visually? Will the humidity cause any problems?
Looking forward to your opinions!

We are also daring to integrate the bathtub into the bedroom. However, we have the option to separate the bathtub area from the sleeping area with sliding doors. Whether this will be a fail or not, I cannot say yet. We also have a separate bathroom for the children with a shower.
Since there is so much feedback, I quickly made a sketch of the planned master wing. Please don’t take the measurements too literally, as some are rounded or measured on-site, and due to uneven walls/plaster, they don’t always match perfectly. This is just to give you an idea.
The bed is planned to go on the left, the bathroom on the right, and built-in wardrobes in the sloped area at the bottom of the plan.
Doors and walls cannot be changed; balcony doors can be made narrower if necessary.
