ᐅ Assembling the hinge components of an Ikea Besta display cabinet door

I want to install the display cabinet door into the tall Besta unit. According to the instructions, the wooden part of the hinge should be connected to the glass part before snapping it onto the glass. I understand the system, but it doesn’t make a click sound. Can someone provide instructions on how to bring both hinge parts together with a "click"? Thanks!

There are different display cabinet doors, probably referring to Besta Tombo. The hinge looks like a Hettich hinge with system 9000.
First, check if the mounting plate has been installed correctly. The hole must face backward.
The clip-on process is poorly illustrated. The hinge arm has two hooks near the frame that need to latch under the plate of the mounting bracket. The easiest way to do this is to position the hinge arm at an angle, about 30°, then slide the hooks underneath. Then press the other end onto the plate until it clicks. It is always best to start with the upper hinge.

I'm not an expert, but the easiest way is to not fix the mounting tape firmly in place right away. I clipped the mounting tape directly onto the hinge first and then screwed the mounting tape in. It works perfectly. :p
