Hello everyone, I am currently working on furnishing my bedroom, specifically with the Ikea Pax wardrobe system. Since I place great value on comfortable and functional lighting, I have a question: Are there any Ikea Pax solutions that already include integrated or pre-installed LED lights?
I understand that LEDs are usually added separately, but I would like to know if Ikea also offers Pax variants with built-in lighting units from the factory, in order to reduce effort and cable management.
Does anyone have experience or knowledge about this, perhaps even recommendations for specific products or modules within the Pax series? I look forward to your input!

Exactly – that was also my impression! Ikea only offers modules that you install yourself. I still think that’s fair on Ikea’s part because it lets everyone decide how much lighting they want, and it’s flexible.

A few months ago, I assembled a Pax wardrobe and immediately integrated the Utrusta LED set. What can I say, I’m really impressed with the result!
The LEDs are very easy to install and look very stylish. I also installed a motion sensor that automatically turns the light on when I open the door – it works perfectly!
Without lighting, the wardrobe is so dark that it’s hard to quickly find anything. That’s why I can definitely recommend retrofitting the LED modules, in case Ikea doesn’t offer a complete solution at some point.
I also find it practical because you can precisely control the light intensity and position yourself! It’s very flexible, and the modern design fits Pax perfectly.
