Socket Planning: I was just doing some research online and came across occasional statements like "power strips count as one outlet." That probably can't be generalized, but can anyone provide more detailed information on this? Thanks a lot for your tips. Best regards, Steffi33

Wow... that's quite a lot... What kind of electrical appliances do you have hidden in your kitchen cabinets? That's not really much.
- Refrigerator
- Oven
- Microwave
- Plate warmer
- Built-in coffee machine
- Dishwasher
- Cabinet lighting
- Range hood
and so on.
I think we have 10 outlets not visible and six visible ones (+ outlets integrated into the countertop).
Our kitchen has the following outlets:
8 on the kitchen counter,
8 hidden for lighting, refrigerator, dishwasher, and so on,
1 on the shelf for the kitchen radio,
2 for the television and receiver,
2 on the island,
2 below the light switches.
That makes a total of 23 outlets for our 20 m² (215 sq ft) kitchen.
