Hello everyone, I wanted to ask if any of you have come across video tutorials specifically addressing assembly errors of the IKEA Brimnes wardrobe.

I have noticed that while many of the official instructions are generally clear, they often don’t provide detailed guidance or solutions for common mistakes that frequently occur during assembly.

Are there any videos that focus specifically on problems like parts being assembled incorrectly, screws placed in the wrong spots, or other typical pitfalls related to the IKEA Brimnes?

I’m especially interested in whether these error examples are clearly visualized with dos and don’ts and corrected step by step, so that the mistakes can be quickly recognized and avoided.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

Hello, I am not aware of any specific videos for BRIMNES errors. Usually, you will only find the official assembly videos from IKEA, which often remain quite general.

If mistakes occur, the best approach is to carefully review the instructions again and reposition the part correctly.

I have conducted thorough research and found that there is no official or officially recognized video guide focusing exclusively on assembly errors of the IKEA BRIMNES.

Most videos available online are created by individuals sharing their personal experiences, which do not necessarily cover all common mistakes.

If you want to fix errors, I recommend following the official assembly instructions, as the product design remains fairly consistent, and most mistakes are usually due to incorrect screw usage or improper fitting of panels.

However, a detailed compilation of typical errors in video format is rarely available.

Hey everyone! I can only say this: I made a few small mistakes assembling the BRIMNES and then just searched YouTube for "BRIMNES assembly problems" – and you can actually find quite a few helpful videos from private users!

Of course, they’re not perfect or professional, but often very practical and motivating 🙂 Just search for them and don’t get discouraged! Everyone makes mistakes, and with the right videos, you really learn something.

So: keep your head up, stay persistent, and try experimenting with videos yourself!

Thanks for the tip! What I’m really interested in, though, is whether anyone knows targeted, reliable, or well-structured videos that systematically cover common mistakes – not just "I placed this part wrong," but with explanations of why it's wrong and how to do it perfectly.

I’m aware that things can be a bit chaotic online, but maybe someone has a particularly useful compilation or tutorial that goes beyond just showing errors?

Hello Manbau, I understand that you are looking for a systematic approach.

Often, mistakes during the BRIMNES assembly are actually caused by similar issues, such as:
- Confusing the components (similarly looking panels are sometimes mixed up)
- Using the wrong holes for screws
- Drawer rails coming apart

In my experience, structured step-by-step guides that deliberately address common mistakes are the most helpful.

So far, I haven’t found any official videos for BRIMNES that cover this in the format of a troubleshooting FAQ.

My recommendation: You can also watch instructional videos for similar IKEA models, as the construction techniques are alike.

If you want, I can summarize some typical errors in more detail.
