I recently discovered that part of my IKEA Platsa cabinet is damaged, and I am now considering whether I can simply get the replacement part through Amazon instead of ordering directly from IKEA. My question is: Are there currently replacement parts for the IKEA Platsa system available on Amazon, especially individual cabinet doors, connectors, or interior shelves? I am not looking for complete modules but specifically for replacement parts, as I want to keep the cabinet in good condition.

I checked, and yes, you can definitely find replacement parts for the Platsa system on Amazon, but the selection varies a lot. Most of the time, you’ll find doors and shelves from third-party manufacturers that are compatible, but be careful: the quality is not always 100% identical to the original IKEA parts! 😅
A tip from me: pay close attention to the reviews and photos from buyers who have actually used these parts with Platsa furniture. This way, you can get a good idea before you order.
If you insist on original parts, they are quite rare on Amazon and usually expensive, since IKEA mostly sells spare parts directly. Still – to be fair – occasionally offers from private sellers or small shops do appear there.
