Good evening,
I have posted my design before. At that time, it was not yet completely finished.
Overall, I really like the layout of the rooms. What I don’t like is the hallway. Maybe you have some ideas on how to improve its design.
In the end, I have thought a lot about it but haven’t come up with a better solution than this one.
The floor-to-ceiling window in the bedroom will be replaced by a standard window. The balcony will be supported by 3 round columns.

The property suggests hiring an architect rather than a draftsman. I would probably use this building volume as a semi-detached house. Your usage concept seems too vague to confusing for me.

As I have already mentioned, a semi-detached house is too large and too expensive for the plot. What exactly is unclear about the intended use concept?

The basic concept for the house is clear to me. I only need specific suggestions for improving the room layout. The rest is fine as it is.

The house will not be rented out initially. Both apartments will be used by family members.

What do you mean by that? Are you planning to use both floors yourselves?

Well, without a clear target group, it’s hard for anyone to give advice... I also found the comments from @ypg regarding the orientation of balconies, parking spaces, etc. very relevant. I myself live in a rental building with 5 apartments over 3 floors. No two apartments are the same; each one is customized.

The ground floor will be occupied by my parents, and the upper floor by me. Later on, the ground floor might possibly be rented out.

Why should I completely change the floor plans of the two apartments when these are the preferred layouts for both parties?

Additionally, customization leads to unnecessary extra construction costs. Specifically, the floor plan works for us as it is. Now it’s only about details and how we might optimize it further.
