Hello,
we have purchased a new semi-detached house.
The house will be white with beige accents.
We were considering having the windows, window sills, and roller shutters in anthracite to create a nice contrast. The windows would then match the front door, garage door, canopy, rain gutter, and patio roof, which are also anthracite.
Are there any issues with window sills and roller shutters in anthracite?
Is it possible for the roller shutters to warp?
The roller shutters will probably be made of plastic; I am not yet familiar with the material used for the window sills.

We will also choose a door without windows. We believe that an exterior door can, or even should, come without glass.
But is there any reason besides aesthetic concerns to choose anthracite-colored windows, roller shutters, and similar elements?

Oh, a real wooden door.
That must come with a hefty upcharge, right?
This is how our front door will look.
The interior doors will have the same design with the horizontal bars, just in white, and all without any extra charge. About €5,000 (around $5,400) with some extras :-) We’re getting the doors from Poland 8-)

... and thus follows the trend of 90% of all home builders. Trend maybe, but apart from white/light gray, it is really difficult for a builder to choose colors outside of this mainstream, as it often comes with significant additional costs.
