Hello,
we have purchased a new semi-detached house.
The house will be white with beige accents.
We were considering having the windows, window sills, and roller shutters in anthracite to create a nice contrast. The windows would then match the front door, garage door, canopy, rain gutter, and patio roof, which are also anthracite.
Are there any issues with window sills and roller shutters in anthracite?
Is it possible for the roller shutters to warp?
The roller shutters will probably be made of plastic; I am not yet familiar with the material used for the window sills.

Maybe it’s a trend, but apart from white/light gray, it’s really difficult for a homeowner to choose anything outside this mainstream since that often comes with significant extra costs. That may be the standard situation. That’s why I advocate for direct contracting. For us, every color would have cost the same, at least for the plaster. Windows, okay, but that was manageable.K

Pwnage61918 Aug 2021 22:25We cannot change the color of the plaster; it is fixed.
Only the front door, windows, window sills, and fall protection for floor-to-ceiling windows
Can we change or choose the color for these?
There are three standard colors available, and we are currently leaning towards anthracite.
We cannot afford the high extra cost of other colors and prefer to invest in other special features.

I have just checked on our side.
The window sills and window frames are anthracite.
We can choose from three front doors, all in anthracite, and the garage door is also anthracite.
Inside, the windows and front door are white.
We think this looks good with our house.
My question is:
The roller shutters are currently light gray plastic.
What is the difference between aluminum and plastic roller shutters?
Would it be an option for us to have the roller shutters in dark gray or anthracite as well, or would they heat up too much?

What is the difference between aluminum and plastic roller shutters? Aluminum looks more premium. With curtains and blinds, I wouldn’t really mind.
