Hello everyone,

What do you have installed in your front door? An A-opener or a motorized lock if a fingerprint reader is included?

Motorized lock.
Fingerprint system by Ekey (ekey-net control)

A opener. Costs half as much, is less prone to errors, and opens immediately and silently.
The control depends on what you need. If you only have the front door, the ekey Home Mini is sufficient.

I can agree with guckuck2. We have both versions. The door opener was significantly cheaper, and personally, I find the automatic, audible locking of the motorized lock every time the door opens and closes quite annoying.

We chose the motorized lock because, with the door opener combined with the fingerprint system, the locked front door can no longer be opened.
So, if someone wants to enter the house after "closing time," they cannot use the fingerprint anymore and must manually unlock it with a key.

For those who find the security provided by the two mechanical bolts (in addition to the latch) sufficient, the door opener is naturally the better option.
