Hello everyone,
we are currently building our single-family house with a general contractor. Our quote includes electronic roller shutters and venetian blinds. The offer also includes one switch planned for each roller shutter or venetian blind. However, we are not entirely satisfied because there is no option to lower all the roller shutters and venetian blinds at once. Currently, I see the following solutions:
1) One central switch per floor (basement, ground floor, upper floor) that lowers all the roller shutters/venetian blinds on that level. According to the electrician, this is complicated to implement and quite expensive (about 1000 euros per switch plus wiring).
2) Each roller shutter/venetian blind is equipped with an actuator (is that the correct term?), which we can control wirelessly. In other words, everything operates with switches, but I have the option to send a wireless signal to all roller shutters so they go down or up together.
3) Electric wireless drives are used (e.g., Somfy Rs 100 io). Then no wired switches would be needed for the drives. However, I would have wireless switches stuck to the whole wall. Is that really practical?
I’m sure there are clever solutions I haven’t thought of… Can you help me?

Press the Prog button at the endpoint for 3 seconds, then search for it on the Tahoma box. However, the assistant will also guide you through the adding process.
In general, just RTFM; otherwise, you might as well give up and won’t be happy with it. Alternatively, watch the countless YouTube videos available on the topic.

Hello, each window came with a remote control. If I remember correctly, I pressed the prog button on the back of the remote control for the respective roller shutter until it started to "wave." Then, Tahoma found it, and it could be integrated into the system. The end positions can usually be reset by a combination of button presses on the remote control. This is stated in the manual and also online.
However, I now have a problem 🙂 Two roller shutters no longer fully open. All attempts to fix this via the remote control failed. Unfortunately, the installers made the problem worse because now both roller shutters can only be controlled simultaneously by one remote control 🙁 I assume each one must be disconnected from power again to reprogram them.
Or is it possible to simply separate the linking of two roller shutters to one remote control again, so that each remote control works for the corresponding roller shutter again ... 🙂
At least all roller shutters can still be controlled individually via the app or internet (Wi-Fi). This raises the question of whether the procedure described at the beginning also works the other way around, meaning if I can make a roller shutter "wave" via Tahoma and then assign a remote control to it??

Do you still remember which is the primary remote control for the respective roller shutter motor? If yes, then simply press the programming button briefly once on the secondary remote when the roller shutter motor is in programming mode. For safety reasons, it seems that the connection only works from the motor to the Tahoma system and not the other way around.
If the shutters no longer operate properly, you will need to reset the control system anyway. Are all your shutters individually protected by fuses or circuit breakers?

... One remote control is now operating two roller shutters simultaneously. However, each roller shutter originally had its own remote control to operate it individually. I now need to somehow unlink one roller shutter from the remote control that currently controls both, and re-pair it with its original remote control.

... That sounds reasonable, but in this case it’s unfortunate.

If the roller shutters no longer move correctly, you will need to reset the control system anyway. Are your roller shutters individually fused? They just don’t fully reach the upper end position anymore. Unfortunately, they are not individually fused because this is not a new building. So you would probably have to cut off power directly at the motor, if that is possible at all. However, such a motor should be replaceable. So it should be possible.
